Is this real investing?+
No. Kid Investor is 100% virtual. Balances, trades, and portfolios are all play money — no real markets are touched and no real money ever moves through the platform. Investor Mode uses real company names and prices so lessons feel authentic, but every transaction is pretend.
What data do you collect from my child?+
Only a first name and an avatar. That's it. We don't collect a child's last name, email, phone number, address, photo, or precise location. The parent is the verified account holder. See our Privacy Policy for the full COPPA-aligned details.
Can I see what my kid is doing?+
Yes. Parents have a dashboard showing each child's cash balance, portfolio, trade history, lesson progress, and milestone events. You can also change modes, adjust milestone rules, or delete a profile at any time.
What happens to the reward money?+
Reward money is handed out by you, the parent, in the real world — cash, an allowance transfer, a treat, whatever fits your family. Kid Investor notifies you when a milestone is hit and you tap 'Mark as Given' once you've paid it. We never touch real money.
